This beautiful sunkissed balayage look created by Rusk UK Ambassador Katie Mulcahy is bang on trend this season, and perfect for clients looking to lighten their locks for a subtle, summery lift.
Formulated with pure micro pigments, the colour molecules in Rusk Deepshine Conditioning Cream Colour penetrate deep into the hair, so smaller volumes of developer are required and the colour results last longer. The unique Advanced Marine Therapy then seals the cuticle to condition and protect during the colour process, leaving hair healthy and amazingly shiny. Deepshine Conditioning Cream Colour also delivers one hundred per cent coverage on grey hair without drying or damaging.
Rusk UK Ambassador Katie Mulcahy says, “The Rusk Deepshine Conditioning Cream Colour range completely blew me away with fantastic coverage. The vibrancy of the colours is incredible and delivers excellent shine. The Blonde gives a beautiful, glossy finish, and allowed me to create exactly the look I wanted to – without compromise”
RUSK Deepshine Conditioning Cream Colour is available in seventy-four shades including six colour modifiers, available exclusively from Salon Services.
Mix Rusk Deepshine Blonde Lightening Cream with RUSK 20 Volume Shine Enhancing Cream Developer at a ratio of 1:2.
Take a balayage board and stroke the colour from the cheekbone through the lengths, applying more heavily as you move towards the ends.
Blend through the corners of the fringe near the eye-socket using a very light application. Leave to develop for 20 minutes and rinse.
Create a gloss by mixing RUSK 8.13B Light Beige Blonde Deepshine Demi with RUSK Balancing Lotion at a ratio of 1:2.
Apply the gloss over only the pre-lightened areas to remove any brassiness. Leave to develop for 5-10 minutes, rinse and wash the hair with your preferred RUSK shampoo and conditioner.
Style the look using 60s inspired backcombing at the crown, then use a thick barrelled wand in diagonal sections away from the face to create a chunky wave – with texture added by breaking up curls with the hands.
